Overview

Handle in-coming telephone, email and faxed orders. Place orders, acknowledge customer orders and verify order is placed with various vendors. Position includes filing open and closed orders, answering overflow calls and quoting customers.

Responsibilities

 

Principle Accountabilities: Customer satisfaction. Making sure all orders are placed on time and shiped when needed.

  • Answer incoming calls to our service center.
  • Enter service request cases into our E-Support system (SalesForce)
  • Always follow-through and call back a customer to give them updates or to just let them know that we are working to address their needs. Constant positive communication – let them know we care.
  • Follow-up on all unscheduled service calls.
  • Contact customers when service calls are scheduled to confirm availability.
  • Obtain financial approval information for service calls prior to scheduling.
  • Support Service Engineers with their information requests and needs.
  • Support the Sales team to communicate and address their concerns regarding customers.
  • Produce installation request for service on machine installs.
  • Communicate closely with the parts, sales and application departments to ensure that customer’s needs are met.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of SalesForce Experience 

Minimum 6 months of machine tool experience, that ideally includes customer service support, scheduling , sales support and / or  Admin support.

Minimum 6 months or more of experience working with Baan 

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
