The territory this role will cover ultimately will depend on a combination of the individual’s overall skill sets and experience, coupled with the business's needs as well as the candidate's geographical preference. However, in sum, it will focus on the Cincinnati / Dayton market. If you're currently covering a large geographical area, this could be an opportunity to reduce the travel and focus more on visiting clients!
- Managing profitability
- Maintaining current customers’ future business while simultaneously expanding new customer business in accordance with stated sales goals
- Maintain electronic 30-60-90 day forecast
- Follow Ellison Technologies sales training program
- Utilize SalesForce.com and update client information in a timely fashion
So what are we looking for? Ideally, someone with a proven track record in territorial sales, coupled with with machine cutting tool experience, that will fit into our team oriented culture. We would also consider candidates with tooling, fixturing and CNC programming experience that would like to break into outside sales as well as someone with a strong sales background with the capacity to assimilate CNC technology into their selling process.
Ultimately the right candidate will pride themselves on being a hunter that is able to get through doors and “teach” prospective clients about their business and delivering creative, value added, solutions.
